Privacy Policy

CET Academy ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Rajender Kumar, Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, India, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit or buy from our store, why we collect it, and your rights under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information We Collect

Details you give us: name, email address, phone number and billing address provided at checkout or when you contact us.
Order information: the products you purchased and your payment status. We do not receive or store your full card, UPI or bank details.
Technical data: device type, browser, IP address, pages visited and how you arrived at our store, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. Why We Use Your Data

To process your order and deliver your digital files.
To send order confirmations and respond to support requests.
To prevent fraud and keep our store secure.
To understand and improve our store and products.
To show relevant advertising (see section 5).
To meet legal, accounting and tax requirements.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Shopify and our payment gateway partners over secure, encrypted connections. Your payment details are handled by them under their own privacy and security policies. We do not store your card, UPI or bank credentials.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store, such as Shopify, payment gateways, email and analytics providers, or when required by law. These providers may process data only for the services they provide to us.

5. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

We use cookies and similar tools to keep your cart working, remember preferences and measure how the store is used. We may also use advertising and analytics technologies from third parties, such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel and Google Analytics / Google Ads, to measure the performance of our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited our store. These providers may collect information such as your IP address, device and pages viewed.

You can control this:

Turn off or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
Manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the store work.

6. Children

Many of our customers are students. If you are under 18 years of age, please use our store and make purchases only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental consent.

7. Data Retention

We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, to resolve disputes, and to meet legal and tax requirements. After that we delete or anonymise it.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable security safeguards to protect your data. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

You may ask us to give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, delete it, or withdraw your consent, subject to legal requirements. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. To make a request, contact our Grievance Officer below.
